Bacchus Marsh is located approximately 65 kms north west from the state capital of Melbourne. Coming in through the Avenue of Honour you will be greeted by the beautiful majestic old elm trees reaching up for the sky along a 3.5 km stretch of road. You will then be treated by an array of “pick your own orchards” that will tease the tastebuds with in season fruit & vegetables galore. Bacchus Marsh was traditionally known for its market gardens & rich fertile soils in the area but is becoming a popular & affordable commuting town between Melbourne & Ballarat. Once you arrive in the quaint little town you will again be spoilt for choice by the many shops & trendy quintessential cafes popping up over the place…3340 is definitely a little town with a big heart & soul on the move, but still many reminders of a town that once was.
