2627 Ingebirah

Ingebirah is a small farming community 27 – 37 kilometres from Jindabyne in the Snowy Mountains of NSW with a population of 800 people. ┬áIt is up to 1,350 metres altitude and receives around 1,000 mm of rainfall annually plus added falling snow. Overlooking the main range of the Snowy Mountains and backing onto the Kosciuszko National Park, Ingebirah is a sun laden, green and wooded shire known as the ‘montane’ which is perfect for running beef cattle and horses. The peaceful bushland holds native fauna such as Grey Kangaroo, Red Neck Wallaby, Wombat, Deer, Alpine Hare and Echidna.
